There are so many fabulous makers and shops in the North Shore, below are some of my favorite good with local ties!
Hearth and Harrow: Local artist and mother Casey Everett designs and handprints these gorgeous tea towels. How fabulous would these look on a summer picnic table?
Diamonds and Rust: These buoy bags come from Essex, MA and would be perfect for a weekend getaway or a trip to the beach. Bonus, they are incredibly durable, made from salvaged canvas. $60
Sage Market + Design: I noticed these beautiful garden markers when I popped into this lovely downtown Newburyport shop a few weeks ago. If you plant fresh herbs in your garden, these are a must have!
One Delightful Button: Made by a North Shore mother of two, these earrings are my new obsession. I have always been a button lover, which I realize is an odd statement, but it turns out I’m not the only one as these earrings have become incredibly popular. Katie has lots of other items in her shop besides earrings, so be sure to check out her website! $12-20.
Todder USA: Topsfield, MA hand-made leather goods. I love the leather key chains, but they also have a great selection of wallets and belts. $25
Salem Style: I know what you are thinking, a crochet infinity scarf, does that really fit in this spring oriented post? Of course it does, you live in the North Shore. It might snow through April. $54
Golden Closet: Twin sisters Laura and Megan Golden are North Shore based and run an online clothing boutique with unique and feminine pieces that are wallet friendly. I adore this cherry blossom kimono priced at $34.
So shop local! It is good for your neighbors, and good for the soul.
