Long Weekend

November 30, 2015

A wet and cold Saturday morning led to the cancellation of a fireside s’mores party at our house. We changed the event to a tea party and visited Buttermilk Baking Company to pick up a few sweet treats for our guests.

The Wildlings appear to be longingly looking at the bakery, but in fact they are watching a car get towed.

Succulents from Pettengill Farm, apple pie and the crowd-pleasing honey biscuit.

Heirloom teacups and homemade mini banana muffins.

After tea, I ventured north to dinner at Blind Pig Provisions, more on that experience in another post.

On Sunday, we woke up and made an attempt at a British tradition, Stir-up Sunday.

PJ in the kitchen.

And just like that, the long Holiday weekend is over. Happy Monday, MOM (my sole reader).
